Few days ago we did a wonderful 2-hours duration customized walking tour with a small family from Toronto, Canada. We kicked off from the eight districts once infamous location: Rákóczi tér and took a ride on Budapest’s largest Combino tram to Oktogon and we also used the Millenial underground to reach the Leopold town (Lipótváros) which is also part of the inner Pest district the so-called Belváros in Hungarian. As you see we took advantage of taking some photos of the Zrínyi utca leading up to St. Stephen Basilica. We also visited Liberty square and Kossuth tér the square of the Hungarian Parliement and ended the tour with another ride on the Panoramic tram of Budapest (tram 2, 23 ) to finalize our tour near the beautiful Great market hall and the Liberty bridge on the Pest embankment.Read Sally’s review on this experience:
“Gabor was a great guide. Very knowledgeable and provided his historical perspective. He was also accommodating – at our request, Gabor incorporate transit into our walking tour to alleviate some of the walking for my older parents. It worked out really well. Thank you!”
